One Week In!

I have officially been on the AIP diet for a full week.  I've stuck to it for about 99% of the time. I've had a few granola bars and diet cokes when I've had headaches coming on.  Granola bars aren't THAT awful.  Diet cokes kinda are but I only drink one when I do, so, there's that.

Progress so far...

Tummy troubles:  None.

Headaches:  A couple of "I need to eat" twinges but none of the M-word variety.  (Hence the granola bars and diet cokes to stifle it!)

Sleep:  I do think I've been sleeping more soundly.  I haven't been waking up 100 times a night. I DO; however, wake up at the asscrack of dawn (5:30 or so) because my dogs need to go out and again about an hour later when they want to eat.  Jerks.  

Mood:  I've been in a good mood the last week but likely because I don't feel like shit.  Always a plus.

I did discover that grilled chicken nuggets from Chick-Fil-A are a-okay. Those, plus a fruit cup are perfect in a pinch.

Three more weeks to go!  :)
